I had a sudden impulse to write this. It has been riding up and down in my brain for about a year now... probably a little longer. I think the thing that'd triggered the impulse was the latest Naruto chapters + the lack of Tenten (or even Team Gai)... and an arc in Shippuuden (ep.100-106?), the one where they refuse to pit Tenten against awesome! (Erm, wtf, she's just standing there with crossed arms behind Lee? Oh come on. *gets shot*) Though they show us a bit more of her competitive/defensive/boyishly cute side, which makes me kinda happy.

Oh and this NejiTen Mulan trailer... but I think it's been deleted...? Then I read this certain toboe_lonewolf 's essay on Tenten... Aaand one thing led to another. Yeah, Tenten here doesn't get enough love. Writing this kind of makes up for it, in my mind anyway.

J'es. It is a Mulan parody. WHAT ABOUT IT? Mulan IS the awesome! Have a go.
